With a passion for creativity and striving for perfection, owner and master craftsman, Dave Baran, has been forging custom metal designs for over 20 years. The early stages of his career provided the fundamentals of craftsmanship in areas such as custom cabinetry, industrial fixtures, and even aerospace. This experience laid the groundwork for Imperial Metalwerks, Inc. He and his team utilize a mix of vintage and modern equipment and fabrication methods to bring together wood, glass, concrete along with an array of metal alloys to create specialty one-of-a-kind pieces of functional art and design. Their hands-on, dynamic approach has resulted in an impressive portfolio of workmanship that includes a wide range of masterfully-crafted finished projects. Our "werks" can be found in upscale homes and businesses throughout Monterey County, North Lake Tahoe and other locations all over the country. From concept to execution, we ensure that our work dominates the rest with imperial fortitude.
